Three days ago, my cousin texted me some old family photos.
One of me with my siblings.
One of me and my brother.
And one with all four of us—Mom and Dad included.
Only two of us are still here now.
Me, and my sister Joan, standing in the back on the left.
This photo made me reflect deeply on destiny and life path.
Out of all my siblings, I’m the only one my ancestors guided into Ifa. I’m the only one who raised a stable family. Because of my journey in Ifa, I’m now known around the world—something that isn’t true for anyone else in my immediate or extended family.
This wasn’t about chance. This was destiny.
It makes me wonder about all of us:
What do you feel your destiny is? In what ways are you similar to your family? In what ways are you different? And what happened in your life that brought you to where you are today?
Reflection is powerful. Let’s talk about it.
