Rest Is Not the Opposite of Progress
There's a lie many of us were taught…
That rest is laziness. That slowing down means falling behind. That if you're not grinding, you're not growing.
But here's the spiritual truth:
Rest is not the absence of work — it is the work.
Your ancestors didn't just labor. They honored cycles. They understood seasons. They knew that the soil must rest to produce a harvest… and so must you.
When you are constantly pouring out, you become empty. When you are always moving, you lose the ability to hear.
When you never pause, you miss what Spirit is trying to show you.
✨ Rest is where clarity lives.
✨ Rest is where healing happens.
✨ Rest is where your next vision is revealed.
This isn't permission to quit — it's permission to sustain.
The most powerful thing you can do sometimes… is be still.
So I want to hear from you…
Where in your life is rest calling you right now?
Is it your body asking for a break? Your mind needing stillness? Your spirit craving space to breathe?
Share below. Let's normalize honoring our need to restore — not just produce.
Your voice, your truth, your rest — it's sacred here.
