Re: following up
What’s up all. Back in November was told by Westinghouse they’ll be getting me in for outages accepting new decon in the spring season.
Since I don’t know what I don’t know about the culture… as we get nearer the season, wondering if it’s advisable to just check in and reiterate my interest/readiness? Don’t want to annoy/push my way out of any opportunities. But on the flip side, not sure how it works, if it’s important to keep my name fresh in their mind or if immediately when they said that they were getting me in their systems and on-list for specific outages.
Also, is there a good way to tactfully try and feel out what outages I can anticipate working? At some point do you get your schedule for the entire season, or is it more “answer the call and go”? Stoked for the foot in the door, but still need to figure out if I can anticipate this covering my expenses. Cheers!
