I see this as a very common move for most amateurs...A common practice to get more rotation for some golfers is they will pick up their lead foot and plant their toes closer to the target. It may help you rotate, but is it happening too soon?
We actually see the opposite with some of the best players in the world. Check out the Instagram video I just posted and you'll see Rory actually plant his heel closer to the target with driver in transition. This really helps him lower his pelvis and get into his lead side. This is Rory's secret to be able to hit 330 at only 5'9" !!
