Technique Tuesday!
Hey Golf Farmers! Today, we are talking about an easy drill to obtain the perfect takeaway. All you need is one alignment stick! Run this alignment stick through the lead side of your club and body. As we take it back, we want the alignment stick to stay pinned on our leg for as long as we can. This ensures we are creating the proper amount of hinge to keep that club working right up the plane! Check out the video below if you want a visual of how this looks. Please comment any questions you have below to help us curate the right content for you! Perfect Takeaway Drill

Technique Tuesday!
We are back for more Technique Tuesday! Today we are talking about how to sync up your arm lift with your body rotation. It's no secret that the backswing is blend of your body turning away from the target and your arms working up to the top of your backswing. It can be tricky for many players what is the right amount of both? In my opinion, most golfers don't get enough turn and lift their arms off their body too much. If this sounds like you, check out the drill below: - Watch the video below to see it in action! - All you will need is an alignment stick underneath your trail armpit (right armpit if you are right-handed and vis-versa if you are lefty). - This is one of my favorite drills for students to understand how to keep their arms "down" while their body rotation is what completes their backswing. 👇 Comment below what swing concepts or drills you are interested in the Golf Farm team covering for future Technique Tuesdays! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSDctj9CT6f/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

@Bayler Brundage No matter the season, I believe putting practice should always be a combination of block practice and random/performance practice. Block Practice - includes some type of drill station (gate drill, Why Golf Putting Thing, mirror work, path mat), whichever you're working on at the time. Random Practice - performance based drills working towards an outcome or goal. You can check out some of the putting drills in the classroom if you need ideas! Block practice: no more than 15 minutes. Random practice: tough to overdue time spent here, but 30 minutes a day would be awesome!

@Amy Simanton I think it depends on the environment you're playing in! Playing a game with your buddies, maybe put the driver away and let's find a way to get in the ball in the hole. Playing just for fun, let's keep banging the driver! No need to worry about results and focus on a swing thought to help you improve.
Q&A Monday!
I’m kicking off a new video series this week all about shallowing the shaft — breaking down the drills, feels, and movements that make it easier to do. For this week’s Q&A, I want to hear from you 👇 What other video series would you like to see next? ➡️ More on swing mechanics? ➡️ Exercise and mobility for golf? ➡️ More short game or putting fundamentals? ➡️ Or something specific you’re struggling with in your swing? Drop your ideas below so we can build the next series around what will help you the most! 💪⛳️

@Cliff Voliva This is a great question Cliff! Ideally, we keep it athletic so we don't have to think while we are swinging and just react! I think my feel in my practice is to try feel the pressure in the ball of my left foot. This has been my cue to help myself improve rotation in the downswing!
