Q&A Monday 🦃🍁
Thanksgiving Edition With Thanksgiving week here, let’s kick things off with some gratitude. What’s the one thing you’re most thankful for in your golf game right now? Maybe it’s your ball striking… Maybe it’s your putting… Maybe it’s a part of your swing that finally clicked… Maybe it’s the confidence you’ve built… Or maybe it’s simply having a place like The Golf Farm to come train, learn, and get better. Drop your answer below — can’t wait to hear what everyone’s grateful for this week! 🙌⛳️

I'm thankful for all the help I've gotten at The Golf Farm, which has enabled me to swing without fear, especially around the greens.
Q&A Monday!
I’m kicking off a new video series this week all about shallowing the shaft — breaking down the drills, feels, and movements that make it easier to do. For this week’s Q&A, I want to hear from you 👇 What other video series would you like to see next? ➡️ More on swing mechanics? ➡️ Exercise and mobility for golf? ➡️ More short game or putting fundamentals? ➡️ Or something specific you’re struggling with in your swing? Drop your ideas below so we can build the next series around what will help you the most! 💪⛳️

What triggers the downswing for you, or Brian, or Carson, or Brett? I'd like to know what "feels" you have. I imagine they're all slightly different. (Sky Mountain driving range in Hurricane, Utah.)

This is exactly what I hoped one of you would say! I just rediscovered this "feel" that I used to have and it helps me begin to clear my left hip. The reason for the question was to make sure I wasn't headed down a bad path (again). Thanks for your thoughts.
New chipping video series is up!
Head over to the classroom for a new series on short game called Chipping 101. The short game guru, @Brian Henninger goes over everything from set up and fundamentals to different shots and trajectories. Check it out and comment below ⬇️ what video series you'd like to see next!

These classroom videos are pure gold! I always stray a bit from the fundamentals, whether I'm aware of it or not.
Poll of the Week!
Alight everybody - how much of a warm-up do you really do before a round? Are you the first-on-the-range type, or more of a show up 5 minutes before your tee time kind of golfer? I’ll be posting my full gym warm-up routine soon—keep an eye out!

I like to get to the course one hour before my tee time. That allows me to slowly walk to the clubhouse, stretch for 10-12 minutes, putt and chip for 10 minutes, then hit 15-18 balls at the range, starting with my 56.
Pro Tip Tuesday!
Piggybacking off of yesterday’s Q&A… What’s the best way to practice in the offseason to get the most out of your game? The off-season is the perfect time to make meaningful changes and build new habits that will last. Like @Carson Barry mentioned yesterday, this is when we need to slow the process down and not be outcome-driven. Focus on movement and mechanics rather than where the ball goes. Work through drills with intention — this is the time to rewire and refine your swing. Having clear goals for the offseason can be huge. What are the areas of your game you’re looking to improve? Don’t forget — this is also the perfect time to focus on mobility and strength. What are your gym goals this winter? @Jonah Koski The Golf Farm is the perfect place to skill-build, move better, and get stronger this offseason. Let’s hear it — what are you working on this winter?

Just letting the club drop from the top. Brian had me do this with chipping in our most recent lesson and the results were amazing. It's starting to transfer to the course, but I know I have to really work on it in the off-season.
