What are your daily rituals, what about habits. What do you do to start your day, to get grounded or reset from a heavy day?
I'm working on weeding out certain habits and turning others into rituals. I like mornings. I like the quiet and solitude. My father lived in South America as a child for years and his family got in the habit of drinking Yerba Mate 🧉 every morning. It has stuck with me and each morning to sit in the quiet before the family is awake and drink a mate. This has been a habit. As I learned about rituals and the value they can have, I have intended to make this time more ritualistic and about me; about preparing for the day; making the day more intentional.
I'm looking for suggestions or ideas to help me be more intentional with the time I'm devoting to being intentional. Tips or advice to consider of how to make this time more caluable. I'd love a more structural way to spend this ritual time. Some days it's wasted scrolling. Some days I spend it catching up on a few things undone from yesterday. Last week I loved the ManOS lite as it gave me a purpose for my ritual time and it felt productive and uplifting.
I would love to hear about your rituals and how you use them intentionally. I want my time to launch me forward for the day and not be a recovery from yesterday. I understand that's needed, but if every morning is spent in reprieve, I'll lose momentum and the whole intent of my morning ritual is to give me intention for the day.
