Can a community be valuable without classrooms?
Quick question....
Do you think a community needs a classroom to feel valuable?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot because “more content” is such an easy answer to reach for. More modules, more lessons, more things people can click through later.
But I keep wondering whether that’s actually what members are coming into a community for.
I'm on a mission to bring more conversation to my community and I haven't created any classrooms. Do you think conversation, access to coaching and feedback and the chance to bring a real problem into the room would be something you would value?
I know it's a totally different perspective. It's something that I have been thinking about for some time and just opened it messy with sort of a plan. I'm not sure how it will work out but I have had some interest.
So I’m curious if you more experienced community owners have any insight or feedback you would be willing to share about what has worked in your communities.
