Why AI Content SUCKS (and how I'd fix it)
Look. Everyone is using AI to create content at lightning speed right now. You press "Generate." You hit "Publish." You get a quick rush of dopamine because you checked the box. But you didn't actually build anything. You just made noise. When anyone on earth can generate a 500-word piece of generic advice in 4 seconds, "good enough" becomes completely worthless. True value doesn't live in the text anymore. It lives in your specific perspective. If you want an actual edge with AI, you have to stop outsourcing your thinking. Before you hit publish on your next AI-assisted post, run it through this 2-step filter: 1. The "So What?" Factor: What can the reader do with this right now? If there isn’t a clear, tactical takeaway, delete it. It’s filler. 2. The Scar Tissue: Did you include a personal mistake, a specific metric, or real-world context? AI doesn't have lived experience. Your scars are the only thing that builds real trust. Efficiency without intent is just fast-tracking your own irrelevance. Let's stop aiming for the feeling of “Look, I posted today!” and start focusing on “Did I actually help someone solve a problem today?” Drop ONE word below: What is the #1 thing you struggle with when trying to make AI content sound human?
