I’m Marlies Kort. In my 30s I ran a 2h47 marathon. In my 40s I became World Champion Ironman 70.3.
Throughout my running career, I’ve found that traditional 12+mile long runs are counterproductive. I developed a smarter training system for age-group runners that focuses on fewer miles - helping to save time, reduce fatigue buildup, and lower risk of injury.
I called it The 9Mile Marathon.
