Be positive - no straight negativity, even when critiquing. Be kind, in a helpful way only. Remember, everyone in this community is at different levels. If you have advice, give it in a teaching manner. 2. Help us grow. Invite as often as you can. Spread the word. 3. Make an effort to participate - Try to post and visit at least once a day, every day This is your community, so play a part. 4. Only Pre-approved promotions, please. Submit your promotions for approval and never post them directly to the community. 5. No explicit adult content, pictures, or speech Adult reading level is fine, just keep it clean. 6. Please, no foul language 7. No arguing or hate speech 8. No Entire Book or Short Story Posting It is ok to post short (half page) portions of your writing for a critique/help request. 9. No soliciting - please do not try to sell things or promote your own community or services here. If you want to promote/offer something, contact me and, if approved, I will post it for you under the Pre-approved promotions tab. 10. No Direct Messaging for the purpose of selling services or merchandise.

I just want to send this bit of advice out to the community. As with anything in life, there are people who will try to take advantage of others and try to scam them. This has not happened in this community to-date but I don't want to let it go unsaid. If anyone approaches you with a promise of services (for a fee or not) be wise and don't get drawn into a spider web. Do not give out personal information and do not do any monitory transactions without seeking my advice first with a full description of who has contacted you and what they have said/offered. Direct messaging for the purpose of solicitation is strictly prohibited. Go through admin to be added to the approved promotions.
