Future Plans ❤️
Hello wonkiful artists, Today I’d like to share something I’ve been working on for the Wonky Art Society over the past weeks. You may have noticed that our Classroom library is growing! There are now classes, workshop replays, brush sets, fonts and other resources available as one-time purchases, and there’s plenty more to come. For members who would like access to the whole library, purchasing every single item separately would eventually get rather expensive. So I’m introducing another option: The Wonky Art Society Premium Membership. 🎉 Premium will be available as a monthly or yearly subscription. While your membership is active, you’ll have free access to the entire regular Classroom library, including my classes, workshop replays, brush sets, fonts and future resources added along the way. The price will be $12/month or $120/year. But because you are the founding members of this community, you’ll be able to get the annual membership for a special founding-member price of $99/year. ❤️ (Note: Collaborative events or resources created with other artists may occasionally be excluded, depending on the individual collaboration.) So, what changes for free members? --> Basically nothing. 😇 The community itself will stay free, including our weekly prompts, creative challenges, quizzes, conversations and live events. You’ll also still be able to purchase individual classes, replays and resources whenever something catches your eye. Premium is simply an additional option for those of you who would like access to the whole growing library. What’s included in Premium? Everything available to free members, plus access to the regular Classroom library, including: - all of my classes - workshop replays - brush sets - fonts - other digital resources - new items added to the library in the future If you don’t have a Skillshare subscription, Premium might be particularly interesting for you, as it will also give you access to my classes right here in the community.

My signature course is here! 🎉
Hey everyone, finally! My signature course "Low-Pressure Art-Making with Wonky Shapes" is now available right here inside The Wonky Art Society. 😍 I know not all of you are Skillshare members, so I really wanted to make sure you can access it here, too. This is the class where I teach the technique and philosophy behind my wonky shapes, why I intentionally avoid perfect lines and shapes, and how this little shift can take so much pressure out of drawing while still helping you grow your skills. You can now find the full class in the Classroom and purchase it directly there. And this is only the beginning. 😇 Little by little, I’ll be filling the Classroom with more classes, workshop replays, resources and other useful creative goodies. I’m also planning an optional membership for the future, so those of you who would like access to everything won’t have to purchase each item individually. The community and live events will stay free, of course. The membership will simply be another option for those who want the full growing library without having to purchase every single item. But for now: the Wonky Shapes class is officially here! 🎉 I’m so happy to finally have it in our little Society home. ❤️

Welcome to The Wonky Art Society! Say hi 👋
Welcome, lovely artists, I’m so happy you’re here! ❤️ The Wonky Art Society is a low-pressure space for digital artists, Procreate lovers and creative humans who want to draw more, practice with joy and grow their skills without perfectionism ruining all the fun. To get things started, I’d love to know a little bit about you. Introduce yourself in the comments and tell us: 1. Where are you from? 2. Are you more of a digital artist, traditional artist, or happily chaotic mix of both? 3. What would you love to get out of this community? And lastly (and that, to me, is the most fun part) Tell us one of your weirdest quirks! 😇 I can’t wait to make art with you, the low-pressure way. Let me start: 1. I'm Jutta, artist and educator based in Düsseldorf, Germany. 2. I'm mostly a digital artist (no mess, ya know, no setting up a gazillion of tools and cleaning brushes and stuff 😇) but I also love drawing with alcohol & acrylic markers. 3. I want to share my philosophy "Getting good at art-making should not feel hard. Practice is key of course but you can only keep a sustainable art-making habit when you actually love what you're doing." I would like to meet cool artsy people and spend time with them talking about the stuff we all love. And my weirdest quirk: I love watching my Kitchen Aid mix ingredients into a nice and smooth dough. So satisfying.
Acrylic Marker Florals - day 9
I live on the west coast of Central Florida, 7 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. My yard is very sandy. I call it "the beach without the ocean". So while I watched this lesson what came to mind was beachy colors and Beach Sunflower (Helianthus debilis), a Florida native plant I grow in my yard. It's not blooming right now, so I'm including an older photo of it after my class images in three versions: the original flattish version (2nd photo) plus two with curves adjustments. The 2nd version (shown 1st because I like it best) is more contrasty than the original (shown 2nd), and less than the 3rd in which I only adjusted the green curve. But the third one may be excessive as I feel the darkened leaves draw the eye too much. So I prefer the 2nd version (shown 1st). What do you think? (Of course my images will look a little different on each screen.)

My Side Quest Photos
Yay I finally managed to capture at least some faces. Twice I saw gorgeous faces in trees and in clouds, but didn't have my phone with me... 🙄 Anyway, here's what I've got! Can you see the faces?
