Hey All, With all the recent excitement I've had about the new UTM feature, I wanted to take a step back and explain what they are. UTM parameters are basically little tags you add to the end of a URL to help track where your traffic is coming from. They donโt change the destination of your link, they just tell skooly where they came from. Example: - https://yourwebsite.com?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=launch1 When someone clicks that link, youโll know it came from Instagram, as part of your โlaunch1โ campaign. Skooly already does this pretty well out of the box, but with adding your own UTM parameters you can track ANYTHING and filter based on that information in the analytics page for your skooly links. If you want help setting it up or have any questions, drop a comment. P.S. FYI UTM stands for Urchin Tracking Module It's from an old web analytics company called Urchin, which Google bought back in the day. Their tracking system became the foundation of Google Analytics, and the term โUTM parametersโ stuck.
