This is one of the *best* teachers out there when it comes to mental/emotional battlegrounds we face as Christians. I’ve learned so much from Mark DeJesus. “A gentle answer turns away wrath…” Have you ever considered you could apply that verse TO YOURSELF? Mercy is a silver bullet for stopping the rage-train. Self control follows suit and is much easier to grasp in those moments. In your struggle, your weakness and your overwhelm, Christ is ready to meet you ❤️ He’s ready to show us what our anger is REALLY protecting (automatically, because you know…fight or flight 😂) and free us from these cycles of showing up as the version of ourselves that we hate.
