The room that changed how I teach forever 🎯
When I started working in a maximum security correctional facility I had to throw out almost everything I thought I knew about adult learning.
Many of the people in front of me had little to no formal education but more life experience than most learners I had ever worked with. My frameworks didn't fit. My unconscious bias was exposed immediately.
It was one of the steepest learning curves of my career and it made me a far better facilitator.
Here's my question for this community: What's the experience, the room, or the moment that forced you to grow the most as a trainer or facilitator?
