Intro to group- Mitigation Specialist
Hi everyone — Austin here.
I’m a mitigation specialist and consultant, currently building Rehab Scope Capital. I’ve been in mitigation since 2019 and came up through the field before moving into estimating and carrier negotiations, which still shapes how I approach scopes and documentation today.
I support independent mitigation companies and franchise owners by handling Xactimate scope writing and negotiations — helping reduce claim leakage while taking pressure off owners who don’t want the overhead and headaches that come with in-house estimating.
Beyond writing estimates, I help teams put simple, repeatable SOPs in place so mitigation workflows stay clean, defensible, and efficient as volume grows.
Glad to be part of a group focused on personal and professional growth. Looking forward to learning from this mastermind community.
