Dreams Inspire Planning, Decisions Deliver Results.
Are you truly committed? To accomplish great things, you must think and act differently. It involves moving beyond simple passion and into a level of conviction that others might call "delusional." As a Sharpshooter your physical and mental self is your primary "weapon," and keeping it in good working order requires a shift from "I think I can" (Confidence) to "This is happening" (Commitment). This "delusional" conviction is supported by the neurobiology of the Reticular Activating System (RAS)—a bundle of nerves in your brainstem that acts as a filter for information. When you move from "interest" to "obsession," you program your RAS to prioritize opportunities that align with your specific target, effectively "manifesting" results through heightened pattern recognition. By choosing decisions (action) over dreams (planning) and commitment over convenience, you physically rewire your brain's prefrontal cortex to favor long-term rewards over the immediate, dopamine-driven comfort of staying safe. Are you chasing comfort, or are you leaning into the discomfort that leads to true growth? Take one unwavering small step right now—not because you feel motivated, but because you are a Sharpshooter committed to the mission. Today is the day to stop hoping and start taking action by making a clear decision to pursue your most important goals. Inaction is a choice. Get out of your head, drop the excuses, and prove your endurance by doing the work that others are only "planning" to do. Be delusional today. Let's gooo!

Lessons Learned | Going Live!
Thanks to those who joined (and those who couldn't), our first Go-Live today. It was bumpy, but we were able to connect and have some great conversation. Some couldn't attend due to time constraints, and some couldn't get into the Live Session. I was troubleshooting with some of those who attended, and it appears the time is showing differently for some people. Make sure your profile settings have your time zone correctly. Some saved the event to their calendar, and when they joined, it took them to a meeting, but I was live somewhere else. Things will happen - don't lose the lesson. Your feedback helps us grow the community, so please share it with me. Until next time, let's continue to invest our energy like a Sharpshooter to be and do better, hitting our personal targets in business and life!

Why am I super busy, but feel like I've accomplished nothing?!
Ever finish a long day feeling wiped, yet unaccomplished? You aren't lazy or undisciplined; you’re just caught in the "busy trap." We often mistake speed for movement, running ourselves ragged while our actual goals stay exactly where they were this morning. I’ve stumbled into this cycle myself, and it’s a frustrating place to be. This happens because our brains are wired to protect us from overload, often defaulting to the path of least resistance—the "loud" tasks over the "deep" ones. When your attention is fragmented, you’re reacting instead of aiming. As a Sharpshooter, if the foundation is weak, the structure won't stand; a cluttered mind is a weak foundation for a productive day. To break the cycle, STOP and ask: "What is competing for my attention right now, and what actually deserves depth?" Align your attention with your purpose, not your inbox. Pick one high-impact target, ignore the noise, and watch how much lighter the effort feels when you’re finally moving the needle. Let's gooo!

That's deep, we tend to focus on the “loud task over the deep one” That's a bar 🎤
Brain Fog
I hope it's ok to share this in the community. It's a moment of transparency that I hope will help someone else. There have been seasons in my life when I experienced what I call brain fog. Not confusion, but overwhelm. Fighting too many fronts at once. New territory with no clear playbook. It felt like pressure from every direction, with no obvious way forward. At one point, a major customer unexpectedly shut down, and we lost roughly 250 service locations overnight. At the same time, there were complex challenges in business, church, family, and friendships. None of them quick fixes. Everything required thought, patience, and clarity I didn’t yet have. I found myself asking questions I had never asked before: How do I navigate this? How do I move forward when I’ve never been here? What helped was a conversation with a trusted friend who helped me slow things down. They pointed out something important: fear of the unknown had quietly taken control. Once that was identified, we worked through the process. One step at a time by creating structure, boundaries, and systems. Clarity began to return. That season is behind me. Today, when I see others overwhelmed or derailed, I recognize it. I know what it feels like. And now, I’m able to help people slow down, regain perspective, and put things back on track. If you find yourself in a tough season: it doesn’t define you, and it won’t last forever. Better days are ahead even if you can’t see them yet. I still have bruises. However, I am grateful that I can see clearly now.

Sometimes we make ourselves miserable
Here are some quotes about our Irrational Beliefs. "When you rigidly hold certain irrational beliefs—when you dogmatically command that you must do well, have to be approved by others, have got to have people treat you fairly, and always ought to live with easy and enjoyable conditions—when you stoutly hold these irrational beliefs, you will tend to make yourself needlessly miserable and will probably defeat some of your most cherished goals." - Dr Albert Ellis Our mental health is just as important, if not more important, than our physical health. Yet how much time or resources do we allocate to feed and nurture our minds? "Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power." – Lao Tzu Reading, reflecting, journaling, therapy, meditation. Are you actively investing time (resources) to challenge and strengthen your mental health? Or just hoping things will get better with time?

This is good!!! Fear of criticism was a major roadblock for much of my life. Eventually I realized it was largely an illusion. Most of the judgment I thought others were placing on me was actually my own inner critic. Learning how—and still learning—to reparent myself has been deeply liberating.
