Mental peace and freedom from worldly cares. III. Spiritual purity, and complete isolation from impure currents of thought. Evolve the states from within and the without will take care of itself. These are the methods of the soul’s unfoldment. Purity is the great touch-stone. To be pure in body, a pure diet must be partaken of and the highest form of food possible to man must constitute his physical sustenance. The fruits of the earth are plenty: they are simple but sufficient. If we cannot be perfect, then let us be the next thing to it, and be as perfect as our surroundings render possible. Learn to say I will and I will not, and when you have said it see that your assertion is sacredly maintained. Let us remember that the material life of man is only one second of his existence, and that it is one of the most unprofitable things in this world to be selfish. Selfishness is the road to the Hells of the soul world. And, lastly, if these things are followed with an earnest loving spirit, rest assured that the blossoms of the soul will expand into full-grown flowers, and for the labor and self-denial expended we shall reap the spiritual rewards which will repay us ten thousand fold. Remember, and realize, the words of the wise Proclus: ‘Know the Divinity that is within you that you may know the Divine One, of which your soul is a ray.’”

From the book "Dossier on the Ascension": The Holy Christ Self is the presence of the Universal Christ that is individualized for each one of us. “The Christ” is actually a title given to those who have attained Oneness with their Higher Self or Christ Self. That's why Jesus was called “Jesus, the Christ”. Christ comes from the Greek word Christos meaning “anointed” - anointed with the Light of God. Each of us has a Higher Self, or “inner Christ”, and each of us is destined to become one with that Higher Self - whether we call it the Christ, the Buddha, the Tao, or the Atman. This “inner Christ” is what the Christian mystics sometimes refer to as the “inner man of the heart”, and what the Upanishads mysteriously describe as a being the “size of a thumb”, who dwells deep within the heart. We all have moments when we feel that connection with our Higher Self - when we are creative, loving, joyful. But there are other moments when we feel out of sync with our Higher Self - moments when we become angry, depressed, and lost. What the Spiritual path is all about is learning to sustain the connection to the Higher part of ourselves so that we can make our greatest contribution to Humanity.

It starts at about 10:40. So you can skip past the translator’s explanation if you want. There is so much wisdom to be found in every little passage. And I always find new meaning in each part whenever I come back to it

As far as Full Moon rituals, I would just say: The Moon is a mirror, reflecting everything on Earth. The Full Moon multiplies/amplifies whatever is inside of us. So whatever we think or feel, will be multiplied/amplified. Whatever we consume, the effects will be multiplied/amplified. So if we consume unhealthy things, the effects will be even worse. Just as if we consume healthy things, the effects will be even better. Whatever we do during the Full Moon phase, we will get more of. Any habits we do during this phase will grow exponentially. So it’s important to be extra aware of what we’re feeling and thinking about, and what habits we’re creating more of. So we can apply that to any ritual or practice we choose to do. If we do charge water or crystals with the Moonlight, we should first put what we want into the water/crystals. Crystals hold memory (water is made up of crystals), so we should be sure to put the frequency of Love and Gratitude into the water/crystals first, then let the Moon charge it. If we skip that part, then whatever is already inside the crystals, whatever it’s been through in its entirety will get multiplied/amplified. So it’s a good idea to put the right frequency into crystals/water regularly, and especially during the Full Moon phase.
