“Do Less vs. Do More” — The Simple Formula for Feeling Better Physically & Mentally
Let’s be real…Most people overcomplicate health. They chase hacks, supplements, or the latest trend… when in reality, it comes down to this:
👉 Do less of the stuff that drags you down (junk food, endless scrolling, isolating yourself, too much alcohol, Netflix marathons).
👉 Do more of the stuff that lifts you up (real food, movement, sunshine, water, nature, connection).
It’s not about perfection. It’s about tipping the scale.
- Swap one takeout meal for a home-cooked one.
- Trade 30 minutes of scrolling for 30 minutes of strolling (that's approx. 3,000 steps!)
- Say “yes” to socialising and no to social media!
Small swaps = massive impact over time.
Of course life is about balance and treating yourself from time to time, so this is where the 80 - 20 rule comes nicely into play - If you adhere 80% of your life to the "more" list on the right and 20% to the "less" list on the left then you are on the perfect path for healthy and sustainable change.
…and remember: real empowerment comes from saying yes to the good stuff, not from living in the restrictive mindset of always saying no to the bad.
