✨🎯Monday Alignment 💛 | Week 12 🎯✨
Hey Ladies, happy Monday!
This weekend was my son's 13th birthday sleepover party. A couple of days before, my husband let me know he had a conversation with our son, and he told him he wanted things simple.
Simple? But if you know me, you know my creativity and my craftsmanship do not really know how to sit still when it comes to showing love to the people I care about.
So simple somehow became a full Nike-themed sleepover.
Now, not everything came together the way I pictured it. I could not find the pillow covers to make the custom Nike throw pillows I wanted for the boys' beds. I did not have time to put the Nike symbols on the blow-up chairs. And the custom Nike-inspired names I wanted as a backdrop behind each boy's blow-up bed never made it onto the wall, since the decal started peeling the paint.
But none of that mattered the moment he and his friends walked into that space.
His face lit up. His friends' faces lit up. And in that very moment, he wrapped his arms around me and my husband, because somehow what we gave him exceeded whatever he had pictured when he said the word simple.
That is the feeling I want you to hold onto this week as we close out Quarter One with our lesson on positioning and pricing.
Because here is the truth. When someone invests in what you offer, whether it is a service, a course, a product, or anything else you built this quarter, you want them to feel exactly like my son did walking into that room. Not just satisfied. Not just like they got what they paid for. But like what they received exceeded whatever they had imagined.
That is real value. And I want you thinking about that as you finalize your price this week.
But here is something else I want to remind you of, because we are not just building businesses. We are building purpose-driven businesses.
That means we are often the answer to someone else's prayer. God places us in position to meet a need someone else has been sitting with, sometimes for a long time. We get to be the manna in the wilderness for someone who is hungry, or the fish that suddenly appear exactly when it looked like there was nothing left to catch.
I am not saying that to put pressure on you. I am saying it so that as you price what you offer, you remember this is not just a transaction. It is a blessing God is choosing to move through you. Let your price reflect the real weight of that, both the excellence of what you built and the sacredness of being trusted to carry it.
Now, I also want to be honest about where I am personally. This has been a full season for me. Birthday parties, Mother's Day, Father's Day, our anniversary, travel, hosting family. All the things. And Week 12 feels like the end of that season just as much as it feels like the end of Quarter One.
I am genuinely excited for what is coming in Quarter Two. We are going to get more technical, more systems-focused, and we'll be walking you through some real technical tutorials as we build out the infrastructure behind everything you created this quarter.
But before we get there, we are going to take some scheduled time to step back from our weekly lessons, giving you extra time to finish building. I imagine this was not just a full season for me. It was probably a full season for you too. So this time is not only for us to catch our breath. It is for you to finish what you were meant to build, because we are getting you ready to be equipped in Quarter Two with everything you need to build a sustainable business, one that honors your capacity and actually makes you money.
You will still have resources each week to help you keep moving and prepare for Quarter Two, and we will still be active in the community, supporting you along the way. We just will not have new lessons dropping during that stretch.
So this week, finish strong. Confirm your price. Let it reflect the real value of what you built, and the God who called you to build it. Then rest, knowing you are not behind; you are exactly where you are supposed to be. See you soon.
