It's a thinking problem.
I used to walk out of conversations and meetings with people and say:
"Why didn't I just say that clearly?" "That is not what I meant." "I didn't make any sense."
When your thoughts are scattered, your communication becomes scattered.
If you want to communicate with more confidence, try this ONE step.
1. Know your point before you speak.Ask yourself: What is the ONE thing I want people to understand?
If you don't have a central point, then you tend to ramble.
Do you tend to ramble because you're nervous, because you have too many thoughts, or because you're unclear on your point?
