What are your Sunday plans?
Sundays here are usually my slow-down days. These are the days when I spend time with my church family, relax with my cat, and take in a movie, usually. This Sunday, though, I'll be honing some skills. I am actually quite excited to be taking an online filmmaking crash course so I can create some top-quality content for all of you! I'm hoping to share some of my practice videos with y'all in the very near future. What have y'all got planned for today? Let me know in the comments, I'm super curious😁
What are your Sunday plans?
Sunday Funday
It's Sunday, it's -21 degrees Celsius outside, and today I am taking a thinking drive. Well, it's not just for thinking, I have some other stuff to do, but either way it's going to be my Sunday Funday. What do you folks have planned for today? Work? Play? Nothing? I'll be spending a couple of hours with friends this morning, then I'm on the road to think, plan, and do something called Propagation Testing. I'll explain that for anyone interested, if they so desire.
My Intro and Winter Content Ideas
Hi there, and welcome to the PinchPenny DIY'er! I’m Roy, and I’m a medically retired Gen Xer living out in west-central Alberta, Canada. Over the years, I’ve taught myself the basics of a wide range of hands-on skills such as woodworking, stick welding, and blacksmithing/ironwork to gardening, cooking, and preserving. I’m always on the lookout for practical ways to save money, and I love helping others do the same by sharing how I make, repair, or repurpose items. I’ve decided it’s time to bring what I do to the wider world. I’m excited to build a helpful, supportive community here on Skool where we can learn, create, share ideas and grow together. I'm looking forward to connecting with each of you soon! Now that winter is setting in here in Alberta, Canada, and there is currently no adequate workshop access for more complex project content until spring, I am going to ask: What would you like to explore? Recipes? Kitchen hacks? General guides on basic home repairs? My goal is to make this an interactive community through feedback and conversation. I'm looking forward to batting around some ideas to add to my current list of topics.
My apologies for the content delay
Yesterday I was planning to release part 2 of the Reining in Rampant Rabbits. Unfortunately, due to a household emergency requiring immediate attention, my schedule has been somewhat gibbled. I do apologize for the delay and will be working on the article as I can find the time today. I hope to have part 2 released tomorrow. I do apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
