The Elder Futhark is more than an alphabet. It is a system of forces — principles that describe how reality unfolds, stabilises, transforms, and renews itself. Each Rune represents a distinct pattern of movement within existence: - expansion and contraction - structure and disruption - exchange, necessity, growth, limitation, breakthrough These patterns can be observed in nature, in relationships, in the psyche, and in the cycles of life. The Runes do not “create” reality.They describe the underlying principles through which reality organises itself. When we work with them consciously, we begin to recognise: - which principle is currently dominant - which one is missing - which one must be strengthened or restrained In this space, we approach the Elder Futhark as a coherent system — a map of ordering forces that can be studied through observation and experience.
