I want to ride my bicycle
53km this morning. Cold, windy, roads starting to fill up. Headwind made the back half earn its keep but got it done. Legs are dead. Glad to get a big spin on the books.
Cycling is one of those types of training/exercise that I feel is really good for processing thoughts or concerns you have. You are alone (well i am) on the bike for extended periods, it hurts, it is uncomfortable, you're pretty much your own driver, mechanic, medic, rescuer if anything goes wrong.
Some of the best cycles of my life have been the ones I really didn't want to do and came back having almost gone through the pain wall and feeling better for it.
