A quick, flavorful dinner that feels fresh, filling, and a little elevated without requiring a ton of effort.
Ingredients:
Chicken:
- 1โ2 chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: dill or parsley
Toppings:
- Cucumber, diced
- Tomato, diced
- Red onion (optional)
- Spinach or lettuce
Base:
- Pita or naan bread
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
2. Air fry at 400ยฐF for 10โ12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
3. Let the chicken rest for 2โ3 minutes before slicing.
4. Mix together the yogurt sauce ingredients.
5. Warm pita or naan in the air fryer for 1โ2 minutes.
6. Assemble:
Pita โ sauce โ chicken โ veggies โ extra sauce if desired.
Optional finishing touch:
Add a squeeze of fresh lemon and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
