DAY 2: Get Out of Your Head & Back Into Your Body
Yesterday we talked about safety today we practice presence.
Many of us live from the neck up.
Thinking. Analyzing. Replaying. Preparing.
That’s not because you’re dramatic
it’s because your nervous system learned that staying alert kept you safe.
But your body isn’t meant to be a background character in your life.
Today is about gently stepping out of your thoughts and back into your body — not to judge it, fix it, or discipline it… but to be with it.
Presence is regulation.
And regulation doesn’t require perfection — just attention.
Here’s a Fun + Engaging Prompt
Let’s make this playful and real.
Body Check-In (no overthinking):
Pause and finish these sentences honestly:
  • Right now, my body feels like: (tired / tight / floaty / heavy / calm / buzzy / soft / irritated / unsure / something else)
  • The place in my body asking for attention today is my ________
  • If my body could text me one sentence right now, it would say:“________.”
Bonus (optional):
Do one tiny thing your body is asking for stretch, sip water, dance, put your feet on the floor, rest your eyes.
Affirmation for Day 2:
I listen to my body without rushing to fix it.
