Mason Vann • Sep 15 (edited) Perfect timing! I intuitively understood eustress, but naming it was helpful. It allowed me to embrace it more. However, “cap your downside” was more impactful. At lower levels of individuation, I couldn’t confront difficult things and resorted to avoidance. This cycle kept me trapped in a constant struggle to gain my life by avoiding overwhelming feelings. Surprisingly, there’s actually a lot of joy in the present! I’ve been missing this joy by trying to save my life. In surrender, I found it again. Still a work in progress…
