Fighting for My Joy: 45-Day Joy Challenge
Welcome again! I'm so glad you're here. Fighting for My Joy is a 45-day commitment to intentionally choosing yourself, protecting your peace, and creating more space for joy in your everyday life. Joy isn't something we simply stumble upon. It's something we can nurture, reclaim, and fight for, even in the midst of stress, disappointment, or life's demands. This challenge is designed to help you slow down, reconnect with what brings you life, and build small, meaningful habits that support your emotional well-being. Over the next 30 days, you'll continue to be encouraged to engage in simple daily practices, reflect on your experiences, and celebrate moments of joy, no matter how small. You deserve joy. Let's fight for it together.

Welcome to The Joy Collective
Peace. I’m so glad you’re here. If you found your way to this space, I’m guessing you’re tired. Not just “I need a nap” tired — but soul-tired. The kind of tired that comes from holding everything together, being strong for everyone else, and losing yourself somewhere along the way. Maybe you don’t even know who you are anymore outside of what you do for other people. Maybe you have good friends, but there are things you can’t say out loud not to them, not to anyone really. Maybe you’re carrying trauma, burnout, or the weight of being overlooked again while everyone pretends not to notice. You’re not imagining it. And you’re not alone. The Joy Collective is a space for Black women who are done performing, done shrinking, and ready to come home to themselves. This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s not about being more productive or figuring out how to do it all better. This is about rest. Healing. Liberation. And reclaiming a life that actually feels like yours. Inside this community, you’ll find: ✨ Resources to help you release the “strong Black woman” script, understand your nervous system, and unlearn people-pleasing✨ Reflection tools to reconnect with who you are beneath all the roles you play✨ A sisterhood of women who get it — because they’re living it too✨ Permission to rest, to feel, to want something different, and to build it You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up. Start here: 1. Head to The Homecoming Circle and introduce yourself — we want to know you 2. Explore the modules in the Classroom and take what you need 3. Show up in the community threads when you’re ready — your voice matters here This space is yours. You belong here. And I’m honored to walk this path with you. Welcome home. — Lisa

Day 15-Boundary violations can lead to a constant feeling of stress and overload which really impacts our JOY.
When boundaries are violated we can experience emotional problems such as anxiety, depression, and anger, conflicts with other people, loss of self-identification, insomnia, decreased immunity, and overall deterioration of health. For the next few days we’ll focus on what boundaries are and how to identify and strengthen them.
