Happy New Year! Week 5 has just dropped in the classroom: a slow, New Year flow to help you wake your body up again without going too hard, too fast.
Admittedly, I filmed this in Namibia and the pace was slightly faster than planned as the rain clouds were looking a little omonous - you will see - so any point you need a rest, just press pause! (One benefit of having me on the tv and not in real life)
We’re out of the Christmas bubble now, and this is where consistency really counts – especially if you want to feel ready for in-person classes again in February. Think of this week as a gentle “I’m back” to your body: steady standing work, simple balance, nothing fancy, just time on the mat.
I’m writing this from Chiang Mai, Thailand (very grateful too see my family for the first time in 3 years or more), but your classes are still rolling out as planned. If you practice this one today or over the next few days, I’d love to hear:
