My Institute Social Transformation
Before joining The Institute Social, I struggled as a baseball instructor. I didn't have sales experience, and I was uncomfortable talking about money. I didn't have any system in place that helped me follow up with people without feeling salesy. In general, I was unorganized and left things entirely up to chance. Now I'm able to make enough money from lessons to fully support myself... only working part-time! Sales conversations are easy for me now, and I convert free trial lessons at a much higher rate. My instructor command center makes it really easy and simple for me to follow up with all of my families, ensuring that I'm not leaving money on the table. Notion has also been really great for me organizing all of my content that I create for social media. Thank you @Gilbert Urbina for all the help; the Institute Social has helped me more than I could have ever imagined!

Lessons
I wanted to share a quick win from going through the onboarding. One of the things Gilbert talked about was reaching back out to past clients instead of always trying to find brand new ones. I went through some of my old contacts and sent out the message he recommended. I ended up booking 6 lessons from it. I’m pretty old school with this stuff and don’t use a lot of systems or technology, so it was nice having something simple I could actually use right away. Still working through the rest of the training, but that alone was a good win for me.
30 day focus Brandon Rodriguez Corona CA, The Institute of Sports and Education
I’m a local Corona resident, played Corona Pony at Santana Park. Played for the Riverside Royals 8u-12u. Played for Phenom National team 12u-14u , played for Jays Scout ball team from 14u-College. Went to Norco High School and then graduated from Hillcrest High School varsity for 3 years. Then I went to Victor Valley Community College in Victorville CA got second team all conference as a DH and led the conference in batting average. Transferred to Christian Community College of Redlands and played in the NJCAA conference from there I got a full ride scholarship to California Miramar University as a shortstop a NAIA school. Started my coaching career my freshman year of college starting with private lessons. Then from there I started to coach an 8u & 14u team out of Yucaipa CA. I’ve also coached with the California Jays College team as well as the International California Jays Pro team all based out of the Inland Empire. I do private lessons here in Corona CA at the Institute of Sports and Education. I get 5-10 lessons usually per week at $65 for 30 minutes. I feel like where things get inconsistent is me reaching out to parents and staying in contact with parents and players as well marketing myself not doing enough videos. In my next 30 days I will get 4-6 lessons per week and start posting at least one video a day to all my social medias, and reaching out to parents.
Institute experience
Before joining the institute I have had some coaching experience right after high school and playing college baseball. Once arrived did not know how to manage to get info out consistently or talk to people. Started with 5-6 lessons a week. What got me going was the consistency of texting everyone I got referred to and closing out deals right there and then from meeting the client to after our session. My style is learning how the kids move and teach them the proper usage of their bodies instead of focusing too much on mechanics. Thanks to Gilbert and Jose at the institute there will be trial and errors and difficultly but having the support of them and other coaches makes things more simple to how to get help instead of feeling left out and asking how to get better
