Somewhere along the way, we were taught that if we’re not following through… we just need more discipline.
But what I’ve been noticing lately is this…
It’s usually not discipline that’s missing.
It’s avoidance.
It can look like being “busy” or waiting until we feel ready or telling ourselves we’ll start tomorrow.
And underneath that…
There's often something we don’t want to feel.
Not because we’re doing anything wrong, but because no one really taught us how to stay with ourselves in those moments.
So instead of asking, "Why can’t I just follow through?”
What if the question became:
💫“What am I avoiding feeling right now?”
Just noticing what comes up…
That’s where things start to shift. 💛
