Stay Grounded — This Assignment Is Covered
Dearest Intercessor, It's still not too late to join us: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_cnhwyEzv7SWE0m-3ac1E-dOfbrqoq-4/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=105278372055534538004&rtpof=true&sd=true As we are about to take our position in this season of prayer starting Friday morning, I would like to share something that I believe is significant for us all as we begin this assignment together. There is a weight to what we are stepping into, and it is necessary. We are not just praying casually. We are assembling in the Spirit, coming from different places, different experiences, and different burdens, and we are coming into this assignment in one way. And just like any other way where many are walking, we may experience some tight places. We may experience places where we feel close, aligned, and understanding each other, but we are not quite sure how it is all going to work out. But we do know this: God is in this assembly. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1 (KJV) Unity does not mean we are all going to look alike and act alike. Unity does not mean we are going to move alike. Unity means we are willing to move in one Spirit, even as we find our way and get our rhythm. And we also need to know that where there is unity, resistance will rise. But we are not talking about people. We are talking about the enemy. We are talking about misunderstandings, tension, and rising pressure, but we are also aware of how the enemy works. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) What we’re entering is not without spiritual significance. And with that comes spiritual warfare, but also spiritual authority.
