Stay Grounded — This Assignment Is Covered

As we are about to take our position in this season of prayer starting Friday morning, I would like to share something that I believe is significant for us all as we begin this assignment together.

There is a weight to what we are stepping into, and it is necessary. We are not just praying casually. We are assembling in the Spirit, coming from different places, different experiences, and different burdens, and we are coming into this assignment in one way.

And just like any other way where many are walking, we may experience some tight places. We may experience places where we feel close, aligned, and understanding each other, but we are not quite sure how it is all going to work out.

But we do know this: God is in this assembly.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1 (KJV)

Unity does not mean we are all going to look alike and act alike. Unity does not mean we are going to move alike. Unity means we are willing to move in one Spirit, even as we find our way and get our rhythm.

And we also need to know that where there is unity, resistance will rise. But we are not talking about people. We are talking about the enemy. We are talking about misunderstandings, tension, and rising pressure, but we are also aware of how the enemy works.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

What we’re entering is not without spiritual significance. And with that comes spiritual warfare, but also spiritual authority.

This is what I want each of you to remember:

There is a spiritual instruction going out right now. It is to stand still. It is not to retreat when things feel intense. It is not to react emotionally when things feel like they are getting uncertain. It is not to move out of place when things feel like they are getting pressured.

Instead: “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.” Ephesians 6:14 (KJV)

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord...”

Exodus 14:13 (KJV)

We are to stand still, to be grounded, and to be led. Not to be reactive, not to be scattered.

And the promise that brings peace to all of this: God is in control of the outcome.

Regardless of what we may be feeling right now: Regardless of what we may be seeing right now:

Regardless of what we may be experiencing right now:

The Lord Himself steps into the fray with authority.

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)

“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

And over all of the spiritual warfare, the spiritual battles, the spiritual conflicts, we stand on this truth:

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper..." Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

This prayer assignment is covered. This gathering is protected. This movement is ordered by Heaven.

As we step into these three days, I want each of you to consider these three things:

Pray ahead for unity. Let peace go before us. Create spiritual order. Invite God into every role, every voice, and every moment. Speak protection every day.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty...” Psalm 91 KJV

But take a moment to consider this:

Where is God asking you to stay peaceful, stay steady, stay led, even in the midst of pressure?

We’re not just praying. We’re not just praying. We’re not just praying. We’re standing. We’re standing. We’re standing. We’re aligning. We’re aligning. We’re aligning. We’re enforcing. We’re enforcing. We’re enforcing.

What Heaven has already said.

It’s an honor to stand with you.
