Hi all — I’m curious about the differences between semaglutide and retatrutide from a metabolic/health standpoint.
I don’t seem to tolerate retatrutide well — I get a significant drop in HRV and an increase in resting heart rate, even though body composition results are very strong. Because of that, it doesn’t feel sustainable for me long-term.
My question is: can semaglutide provide similar “background” metabolic benefits (like improved insulin sensitivity, glucose control, etc.), even at lower doses?
Specifically, is there a dosing approach with semaglutide where you can still get those metabolic benefits without significantly suppressing appetite?
Would love any insight thank you!
