Session Reschedule: Honoring the Body’s Need for Rest 🤍
Dear Collective, I am writing to share that I have come down with a severe viral infection and need to honor what my body is asking for right now: complete rest. Because of this, I will be rescheduling tomorrow evening's live session (Thursday, Oct 15th at 8:00 PM CEST). Listening to my body, today I honestly did try to push a little but I've completely hit a wall. If this space stands for anything, it's that we don't force or power through when our physical health asks us to stop. Next Steps & How to Keep Moving This Week: * Rescheduled Date: I will update the Skool calendar with our new call date as soon as I feel better and my voice clears up so we can dive into our Desk-to-Body Recalibration with full energy. * Your Practice for the Week: In the meantime, lean gently into your chosen Somatic practice, try and identify the small moments where we feel the flight or fight/ freeze sensations: journal about them, be awareor simply practice the 60-second jaw and desk opener from Tuesday when work feels loud. * Take this as your own permission slip: where in your week can you remove pressure, drop an unnecessary task or let your body truly rest? Thank you so much for your grace and understanding. I appreciate each of you and look forward to being back together soon! 🌿
Quick Midweek Check-in: Unbrace your jaw + 60-second desk opener 🌿
Hey ladies, Dropping into your Tuesday with a quick somatic pause: If you’re reading this between meetings or tabs, notice your physical body right this second: 💫 Is your tongue pressed hard against the roof of your mouth? 💫 Are your shoulders creeping up toward your ears? 💫 Are your feet flat or are your legs tightly crossed underneath you? Take 60 seconds right now at your chair: 🫶 Unclench your jaw and let your back teeth separate. 🫶 Interlace your fingers behind your back (or hold the sides of your chair), gently roll your shoulders back and lift your heart space. 🫶 Take one double-inhale through your nose and let out a long, unhurried sigh through your mouth. Notice the micro-shift across your chest. For our live session this Thursday evening, our theme is Deconstructing Default Patterns. We’ll look at why we reach for our phones or get pulled into urgency loops when work gets loud and then move right into a Desk-to-Body Recalibration; guided seated/standing movement, chest/psoas openers and breathwork to unpack the week's tension (no yoga mat or workout clothes needed!). Drop a quick number below: What percentage is your body’s battery sitting at today? (No judgment, just real data! 👇)

Week 2 is Live: Deconstructing Default Patterns + Workshop 1 Recording 🌿
Welcome to Week 2 of The Rooted Collective! 🌿 Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for Workshop 1. Getting to ground together, share our real baselines & bring honest awareness to where our energy leaks out set such a strong foundation for this container. 🎥 Workshop 1 Replay & Materials The full replay of Workshop 1: Nervous System Baselines & Energy Leaks is now live in the Classroom! Watch the Replay below. If anyone would like the slides let me know, happy to share. Key Takeaway to Remember: You do not rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your nervous system's capacity. Regulation is never a permanent checkbox we tick - it’s an ongoing loop of noticing, recovering & returning. 🌿 Your Week 2 Focus (Oct 9 – Oct 15): This week, we transition from Awareness to Deconstructing Default Patterns. When your body reaches for your phone late at night, scrambles to reply to non-urgent pings or crashes at 3:00 PM, it isn’t a lack of discipline - it’s an automatic coping loop seeking safety or relief. Here are your 3 core practices for this week: Choose Your Somatic Bookend (Morning OR Evening): Inside the classroom, you have two on-demand 15-minute guided practices led by me: Morning Awakening (7 min): Spine mobility, gentle vagal tone breathing, and grounded presence before checking your inbox. Evening Down-Shift (15 min): Floor-based restorative unwinding to release screen apnea, drop cortisol, and prepare for deep sleep. Rule: Pick just ONE to test 2–3 times this week. Zero pressure to do both! Track ONE Default Loop: In your Notion Personal Reset Hub, deconstruct just one recurring loop (e.g.reaching for your phone upon waking, 3:00 PM mindless snacking, or evening scrolling). Practice inserting a 5-second pause buffer or 3 physiological sighs before the automatic action. Bonus Menu: Check out the Daily Habits for Nervous System Regulation guide attached in the classroom as a menu of micro-anchors whenever you need a quick reset.

🌿 Welcome to The Rooted Collective | Start Here
Welcome into the room. If you are here, you are part of our founding beta cohort; the women helping us shape and test-drive this container from the ground up. Thank you so much! This space was built for ambitious, driven women ready to break the loop of high-functioning survival mode. We aren't here to dump a massive 10-step routine onto your plate or overwhelm you with hours of content. We are here to rebuild your baseline capacity through practical somatic resets and sustainable habit architecture that actually survives a busy workweek. What to Expect as a Founding Member Because you are inside our live beta round, we are rolling things out intentionally and co-creating as we go: - Weekly Module Drops: The core lessons and weekly somatic practices will release step-by-step each week so your nervous system never feels overwhelmed by a library of content. - Co-Creation & Feedback: Your input directly shapes the final iteration of this program. If a practice lands deeply, tell us; if something feels clunky in your daily routine, we adjust it. - Low Burden, High Impact: You do not need to spend hours inside Skool. The goal is small micro-resets (3–5 minutes) that translate directly into your real life and workdays. Navigating the Space 1. The Classroom: This is where weekly modules, audio micro-practices, and your Notion Habit Hub will unlock as we kick off each phase. 2. Community Feed: Use this board to ask questions, workshop boundaries, share what’s working, and check in. 3. Calendar: Keep an eye here for the schedule of our upcoming live calls and integration sessions. Your First Step: Say Hello Below! Before we begin rolling out Week 1, take a deep breath, drop your shoulders away from your ears, and introduce yourself in the comments: 1. Who you are and what you spend your days doing. 2. Where your energy leaks the most right now (e.g., afternoon crashes, back-to-back calls, urgency loops, or turning your brain off at night). 3. One word that describes how you want your daily baseline to feel by the end of this year.
🌿 Kickoff Workshop Time: What works best for your schedule on Oct 8th?
Welcome to our space! We are officially kicking things off tomorrow (October 1st) with your Week 1 baseline tools, but our first live gathering will be next week on Thursday, October 8th. To make sure this fits smoothly into your workday without adding calendar pressure, I want to find the hour that best supports everyone's energy. Take a quick second to vote below for your preferred slot (all times in CEST): - Lunch Time Session (12:00 PM) – A somatic midday reset between meetings. - After Work (5:00 PM) – An intentional buffer to close down your workday. - Evening Session (8:00 PM) – A quiet evening wind-down before rest. If more than one works for you or you have a tight conflict, feel free to drop a note in the comments below! I hope to have you all there live but if not, the session will be recorded.
