What this group is about (and isn't)
This is a no-bullsh*t business community for people who want real advice, real feedback, and real progress, hosted by Jimmy (me) and Archie (my business partner). We’re not here to sell you G-Wagons, mindset quotes, or recycled Instagram content. I’m here because: - I didn’t get honest guidance early on in my business ventures. - I’ve made expensive mistakes you don’t need to. - I’m still building, still learning, still working on myself and my business. Who I am: - Angel-backed prop-tech founder at 18 (£200k investment). - Exited my first company at 25. - Built a law firm from 0 to 11 staff / £500k+ turnover. - Lost a major client and shut it down (some people call this failing - yes, it happens). - Now co-own Streamz.store - UK e-commerce partner for gyms, brands & major influencers. - We did 10× revenue this year and our mission is to do it again next year. Everything here comes from real execution, not theory, I'll be getting on other business owners, young and old who have actually practiced what they preach, and we'll aim to support and improve your businesses through videos, interviews, Q and A's, ideas and in-person events! Why this Skool exists and why I'm here: 1. Help people with advice I never got. 2. Improve my own businesses by thinking better, sharper, publicly. 3. Get better on camera while building something useful. 4. Create a strong network of British entrepreneurs who actually help each other If you want hype, go to Instagram. If you want progress, stay here.

If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself below!
You don’t need to impress anyone here, you don’t need a big business, you don’t need to sound clever. Just share: - Where you’re at right now - What you’re working on (or want to work on) - One thing you’d like help with This is a positive space. Everyone here started somewhere. Everyone here is figuring things out as they go. If you’re motivated, you belong here. I’ll read every intro, and I’ll reply where I can.
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take… (Michael Scott - The Office)
Yesterday we were invited to go back to our School in Worcester to discuss with secondary school kids about going into business as a valid career opportunity. It was an absolute pleasure to - A) See that our old School is recognising going into business (and promoting it) as a career path for young kids ands adults, and - B) To hear 13+ Year old kids wanting to go into business, including some who even have business ideas and/or products! The opportunity to talk to people about what we do, but more importantly about what we've learnt was awesome (it was also a great way to polish our elevator pitch - explaining what it exactly is that we do and what is different). One thing both myself and Archie were asked in various discussions by parents and their kids was "what is one piece of advice you'd give your younger self or someone who is about to start a business", We both seemed to agree that success & growth was created from not giving a sh*t about negativity, embarrassment and the fear of failing, that is the key to overcoming so many barriers in business, and actually, those barriers don't exist in the first place - we often worry far too much about cold out-reach, trying something new in business, asking for advice, chasing people and so much else, but the reality is no one really cares, you shouldn't be worried about failing, and what's the worst thing that will happen - rejection? So what! move onto the next...In the wise words of Michael Scott (US office) You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. One piece of advise I can confidently say I try to live to is - "I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done" and I think that rings so true in the world of getting started in business. “The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that's changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks” - Mark Zuckerberg

Our First Interview... Coming soon
We just recorded a long-form conversation (around 50 minutes) with someone I’ve known for a while who’s doing some serious things in the media and videography industry including one client most people have heard of in The UK... Recently, he made a big call in his business and took on more risk, more responsibility, and stepped into the next phase instead of sitting comfortable where he was, including growing his team and moving to a great new office. We talk honestly about: - what pushed that decision - what scared him - advice he would give others starting out in business - what growth actually costs (mentally and financially) - mistakes, pressure, clients, confidence - and why most people stall just before the level they want No scripts (maybe a couple of pre-thought about questions). No selling and quite a few sniffs (I have a cold). Just three business owners talking through real decisions while things are still moving. If you’re building something, stuck at a ceiling, or feel like you’re capable of more but hesitating, this will be useful to watch or listen to on a drive to your next meeting! I’ll post it to the group soon, keep an eye out!
