landscape before and after
Here's an edit in Photoshop of a landscape. I've attached a video if you want to see the process. Here's the big trick from this edit: you can add adjustments to your masks in PS. The downside is the mask adjustments are permanent, but the good news is you can add a levels or a curves adjustment to masks and this skill is really beneficial. Go to Image > Adjustments (with the masks selected) to add an adjustment to a mask. Oh also, I use an action that I created which creates luminosity masks. Come on over to one of the hang outs and I can provide it.

landscape before and after
What's everyone working on or shooting this weekend?
I'm running a studio lighting workshop the evening, so I'll be editing some portrait shots tomorrow. Might edit a landscape in a bit this morning. What about you? Oh, and we don't have a hangout scheduled for this week. But should we do one Tuesday just as an inaugural get together and chat? Tuesday morning like the others?
Meeting times
I'm setting up the weekly meetings on LRC, Photoshop, and general discussion. What times are best? I put Wednesday morning, but I'd love to hear some opinions.
Current state of the LRC class
I'm uploading individual classes and lectures on LRC, but they are taking a LONG time to process through my computer. Worry not, they are coming, and will total to more than 7 hours of material. And I've got ideas for more classes to record afterwards. I know some of the classes are currently empty (the ones on masking and onward), but they won't be for long. Thanks for your patience.
