Using Gamma AI for Creating Videos/Presentations
Hey guys,
I just wanted to quickly walk you through how I use Gamma for creating slide decks for workshops, as well as offer videos for testing in the market. I thought it would be useful as some of you are going into build mode and considering a video to promote your offer.
In this video, I show my process from Chat GPT (ideation), to Google Docs (creation), through to the Gamma settings / final output (execution). This saves me SO MUCH TIME.
As an overview, here's what I do:
- Know what I want to create in a general way (crucial step 1)
- Go to Chat GPT and brain-dump my thoughts (text-voice)
- Get it to follow: Why-What-How-Now model (structure)
- Copy the slide-deck across to a blank Google doc
- Go to Gamma and import that slide deck
- Choose the parameters I want for it
- Create deck (make minor edits)
Optional: run final deck through AI to critique if you feel there are gaps (I don't generally need to do this, but it can be useful if or when something just feels off and you can't quite put your finger on it)
The entire process for creating a presentation can take anywhere between 10 - 30 minutes.
If you want to try out Gamma for yourself, I think you can get some basic uses from the free version, but the paid is €20 per month.

I might even create a GPT with my framework to build decks and things like this. What I currently do is just use the specific GPT thread which has all the context/info about the topic I'm focused on, and if I ever want to share a reference point, I just plug it in (a good slide deck / presentation)
