🌙 Before You Call It a Night...
Before you head off to bed, I've got a question for you. What's the one thing that's been on your mind about your handmade business lately? Maybe you've been wondering how to attract more customers. Maybe you're trying to decide whether a particular craft market is worth applying to. Maybe you're looking at your booth and thinking it needs something, but you can't quite put your finger on what it is. Whatever it happens to be, I'd love to hear it. One of the reasons I started this community was so none of us had to figure everything out on our own. Chances are someone else here has faced the same challenge and if I can help point you in the right direction, I'll jump in tomorrow morning. So, what's been occupying your thoughts lately? Leave a comment before you call it a night and let's help each other move forward.

🌙 Before You Call It a Night...
📚 Classroom Spotlight
One of the things I never want to happen in this community is for great classroom content to get buried simply because it wasn't posted this week. 👉🏼There are quite a few resources inside the classroom now, and some of the older ones are just as valuable today as the day they were added. So once a week, I'm going to shine a spotlight on one that I think deserves another look. ⭐ This Week's Spotlight: Helping Without Pressure One of the biggest misconceptions about selling at a craft market is that you have to be outgoing, persuasive, or have the perfect sales pitch. You don't. Most customers don't want to feel like they're being sold to. They want to browse, ask questions and decide in their own time. The vendors who create the best shopping experience are usually the ones who know how to be helpful without making people feel uncomfortable. That's exactly what this classroom topic is about. If you've ever wondered how to start conversations naturally, make customers feel welcome and increase your chances of making a sale without sounding pushy, I think you'll get a lot out of this one. You can find it in the free classroom whenever you're ready. Lesson 11 — Helping Without Pressure - Vendors · The Craft Market Collective I'd love to know your thoughts. Do you find it easier to chat with customers, or do you sometimes worry about coming across as too pushy?

A warm welcome to our newest members Mandy & Doretha ❤️ I’m really glad you found your way into The Craft Market Collective. Craft markets can feel a little overwhelming when you’re figuring everything out on your own. That’s exactly why this community exists. Vendors here share ideas, experiences and the little lessons we learn along the way. Since you’re here, I’d love to know: What do you make or sell at markets? And if you’re comfortable sharing, what’s one thing about markets you’re hoping to get better at? Welcome again. I’m really happy you’re here.

Okay, I'm being nosy... 😂
I'm curious... have you found anything interesting in the classroom lately? 👀 There is a LOT tucked away in The Craft Market Collective classrooms now, and sometimes I forget just how much we've talked about. 😂 So I'm curious. Have you come across a topic, idea or little tip that made you stop and think, "Oh... I hadn't thought of that before"? Maybe it gave you an idea for your next market. Maybe it made you look at your booth a little differently. Or maybe you found something you didn't even know you needed. I'd genuinely love to know what you've found interesting so far. Tell me in the comments. 👇 And if you haven't checked the classrooms in a while, this might be your sign to go have another look. 😉

You Have One Hour. GO. 😂
🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️You arrive at the craft market, check in with the host, find your table and look at the time. You have one hour before the doors open. No problem, right? Except your stuff is still in the vehicle, every other vendor is trying to get through the same door, your tablecloth is buried somewhere underneath three bins and you can't remember where you packed your price signs. 😂 One hour can disappear VERY quickly on market morning. I've just added something new to the Vendors 101 classroom that breaks that hour down into a simple 15, 20, 10, 15 minute setup plan. The idea is to help you stop wasting precious setup time trying to decide what to do next. You'll know what to tackle first, when to get your products out, when to deal with pricing and checkout, and when to step away from your table and look at it like a customer. The new lesson is called You Have One Hour to Set Up. Now What? It's in the free classroom, so go check it out before your next market. And I'm curious...how much setup time do you normally get at your markets? Is one hour enough for you, or are you still crawling under your table looking for something when the doors open? 😂 You Have One Hour to Set Up.
