So I feel like sometimes I try to change so much at once that I basically change nothing because I am overwhelmed. But I wanted to share one thing that has changed for us as a family and I’m very excited. We have started to go to church regularly! If you know me, this is a struggle that I’m embarrassed to admit. With my husband only home one full day a week, we selfishly have stopped going to church because we were craving the extra time together. In my heart this was not working. I homeschool Christian based learning, and my youngest has been begging me to get baptized. I felt like in order to do that we really needed to be in a church where he was learning more and not just from me but from others. So, we did it! We decided to go back to church and he is getting baptized this weekend! Going back to church has made my life feel more peaceful and I’m so grateful for that. This week I plan to be more realistic and only try work on one new habit.

I started at work at about 0615. I work in a medical testing office. I left about 10 for the day. I needed self care (pedicure, that just happened to work into my appointments yesterday). I have guardianship of my uncle that has a brain injury. I’m at a spot where I need to look at putting him in memory care and I’m torn because it’s going to upset the family. I toured three different facilities all of them about the exact same price same amenities my ask is if you would place your faith with my faith in line as I asked God for direction for grace, for guidance.

Who can I pray for this weekend, friends? Here are a few from me.... - My father-in-law, Dale -- waiting on a heart transplant - Kiddos ending the school year going home to a rough situation ❤️‍🩹 - Finances (our dishwasher, washer, and AC/furnace went out over this last month!). We are fine hand-washing dishes and we got the washer fixed for $85 today - hallelujah! But the AC/furnace is going to be over $3500 to fix. Going back to the 1900s without central air! We can do it! :)
