OK, everyone. We took everybody's vote, and it was a tie between Python and learning how to build a Chrome extension. So, we flipped the coin, and the Chrome extension workshop won.
Here are some details for this workshop. If you choose to accept the mission, remember this workshop is included for all Premium and VIP members or $25 if you just want to do this without becoming a Premium Member - You will learn the basics of creating a Google Chrome extension.
- You will learn how to efficiently prompt in creating the Google Chrome extension.
- You will be able to test out your Google Chrome extension.
- You will be able to share your Google Chrome extension.
Now, part of the learning process is getting your hands dirty and playing around with it. By the end of the workshop, you will create a Google Chrome extension that works on SKOOL.com community pages, such as The Code Zone. The Objective:
Build a SKOOL Helper Chrome Extension
Your extension must:
• Have a clear SKOOL-related theme
• Include a pop-up UI
• Save or display data using JavaScript
• Be usable without logging in or APIs (No signup required to use the Extension)
Of course, you get to choose what you want to do, but just to give you a few examples of what you COULD BUILD from this workshop, here are a few.
Example ideas
1. Save SKOOL posts for later (with notes)
2. Collect highlighted text from SKOOL posts
3. Track posts you’ve read
Bonus:
• Add delete functionality
• Improve UI
• Add optional AI summary
