@Rob Vanarsdall Ya, I get a lot of good feedback as well! thanks!
A little assistance please
I hope this finds everyone and their family well. I'm reaching out because I find myself in a tough situation personally. My wife has been going through colon cancer treatments. Me being unemployed hasn't helped. We now find ourselves in an urgent situation where we have been asked to leave if we don't come up with past due rent. I appreciate any consideration (even a dollar) and feel free to pass along to others: https://gofund.me/47f293ce7 .

Thanks for everyone's support. We're almost there in taking care of late rent, and car payments. Phone and car insurance are next.
Starting a tech career in a new country can be really tough
I’ve been working in IT for around 10 years, mostly doing freelance development and remote projects. A couple of friends of mine immigrated to the US about two years ago. At the beginning it was really difficult for them to find stable work. They didn’t have much experience in IT freelancing and didn’t really know how platforms like Upwork or Fiverr worked. Since I had been working in freelancing for a long time, I helped them learn how things work — from technical skills to understanding how freelance platforms operate. At first they just worked on small projects, but slowly they gained confidence and experience. Eventually they were able to find stable remote jobs. Seeing that progress was honestly really rewarding. It made me think about how many people might be in a similar situation — wanting to succeed but feeling stuck or not knowing where to start. Has anyone here gone through something similar when starting their career or moving to a new country? I’d be interested to hear other people’s experiences.

I had a remote support m365 role as a network engineer as well but things changed. I could never seemed to get Upwork or Fiverr to work for me...I must be missing something. Anyways, I'm interviewing for small remote work and an onsite hybrid role while working on another possibility as a contractor for a bio company. Lot's of plates spinning...one or two should land ...I'm praying!!!
