I’ve noticed something interesting lately:
Sometimes my FREE listings help my PAID listings sell faster.
Seriously.
I’ll put a random item up for free — maybe something too bulky, outdated, or not worth photographing perfectly — and suddenly:
- more people view my profile
- older listings get new clicks
- buyers start messaging again
It’s almost like the algorithm wakes up and says:“Oh… this person is active.”
And sometimes a person who comes for the free item ends up buying something else.
A free item can become:✔ a profile booster✔ a traffic generator✔ a goodwill builder✔ a fast decluttering win
Not everything needs to become a high-profit flip to be valuable.
Sometimes momentum is the real win.
