Didn’t eat anything yesterday.
My brother showed me a video and some info about the benefits of fasting for 36 hours, so I started tha a few months ago.
In the beginning, I was doing it because I thought it would benefit my body. But yesterday while walking my daily miles, I asked myself “why am I doing this today?”. And I realized it had just turned into another excuse I can use to not eat that day. It was meant as a reset day but has turned into something else.
It’s teacher appreciation week this week and today’s theme is Cinco De Mayo - tacos for lunch. Like every sane person, I can crush some tacos. My goal is to try to enjoy some today.
……I wonder if PTO can sneak some margs into the teacher break room? 🤣
