📣 News for Claude Pro (an up) Users

Hey all... in case you didn't hear already... looks like Anthropic made a change that will positively impact you if you are a paid member! Check out the image of a Thread post today by Boris Cherny (who works at Anthropic)... he says:

"Two big changes for Claude Code today: 5-hour rate limits doubled on Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise, and we've removed the peak-hours

limits for Pro and Max. Both effective today."

WHAT THIS ACTUALLY MEANS FOR YOU:

The rate limit doubled => now within your 5-hour rolling window, you can do twice as much work before hitting a wall.

Peak-hour throttling is gone => which is actually the bigger deal for most people. Since March 23, during peak hours (5am–11am PT), your 5-hour window was depleting faster than real clock time, meaning the same coding task that used 20% of your quota off-peak might eat 35-40% during peak hours. That's now history for paid subscribers.
