Food for thought on using AI for our Content
Hey everyone, just dropping in with some quick AI use tips when it comes to captions. These are the four things that give it away every time in my opinion: - The motivational triple: "you learn. you grow. you evolve." Have you noticed this same length, same structure, three in a row style writing? For me it's a dead give away. I'm not saying to never use it, because it can be a very impactful way to get your point across....but when it's used all the time in someone's content, then It feels less authentic. - The it's-not-X-it's-Y sentence: "this isn't about posting more, it's about posting with intention." I used to love this one, but it's everywhere right now, and I think a dead giveaway it was written by AI. - Making normal stuff sound historic: "this marks a turning point in your journey" for... a caption about your morning routine. come on 🫣😂 - When every single line lands perfectly. real writing has at least one sentence that goes sideways a little. when it's all polished, it feels assembled or even forced. The thing to remember is that AI is optimizing for sounding right, but that leads to everyone sounding the same! And, when every one using AI starts to sound the same, then none of us stand out. I know we all use AI, I know I do with all of my content... but the KEY is learning to train your AI tool to not use those common give-aways and to sound more like you. And until you get that right... edit every post! If you have the time this weekend, go read your last five captions, or Threads out loud. stop at every line that could belong to any other account. those are the rewrites, or the notes to give your AI tool to NOT include the next time you sit down to create content. Anyone else noticing this?👇
