The Sweet Green Bee Who Didn’t Read the Script 🐝💚
The Sweet Green Bee Who Didn’t Read the Script 🐝💚 I was standing outside, enjoying a peaceful moment, whispering, “Praise God…”Suddenly—zoom!—a shiny little green bee landed on my arm. I froze.“Okay… you look expensive. Like jewelry… but don’t act wild, please.” The bee looked at me like it had a mission. Then—ouch!—it bit me and flew away like it had a meeting to attend. “EXCUSE ME?!” I shouted. “You’re GREEN and BEAUTIFUL! You’re supposed to be SWEET!” Just then, Jesus appeared beside me, smiling. I said, “Jesus… even the cute ones bite now? What is this world?” Jesus chuckled gently.“My child, even the smallest creatures react when they feel threatened.” I crossed my arms. “But I wasn’t doing anything! I was praising You!” My Canadian mom walked in, holding a cup of coffee like always. She looked at my arm and said, “Well… maybe he thought you were a flower. You are glowing today.” I laughed. “Mom, flowers don’t scream ‘OUCH!’” Jesus smiled again and said,“Let me ask you something… humans—who are kind, loving, and ‘sweet’—do they sometimes hurt others?” I paused.🧐🧐🧐🧐 My mom slowly sipped her coffee. “Oh… that’s a yes.” Jesus continued,“Sometimes people bite with words… sometimes with actions… not because they are bad, but because they are hurt, afraid, or misunderstood.” I looked at the sky.“So… I got bitten by a tiny preacher?” Jesus laughed. “In a way… yes.” My mom added, “Next time, maybe say, ‘Welcome, little bee, I come in peace.’” I smiled. “Next time, I’m bringing backup… like gloves.” Jesus winked. “Or bring love—and wisdom.” Verse 📖“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”— Ephesians 4:32 Lesson 🌱Not everything that looks sweet will act sweet. And even kind people can “sting” when they are hurting or afraid. So instead of reacting with anger, we choose understanding, patience, and grace. Prayer 🙏Dear Jesus,Teach me to stay kind even when I get “stung” by others.Help me not to react with hurt, but with wisdom and love.Give me a heart that forgives quickly and understands deeply. And next time… maybe warn me before the bee comes!Amen.
