🎥 You Don't Need to Film More Videos. You Need to Cut Up the Ones You Have.
Most business owners aren't avoiding short-form video because they've run out of things to say. They're avoiding it because turning a long video into short clips feels like hours of editing work they don't have the time or the skills for. You know short-form video works. You've watched other people in your space grow with it. So you think about doing it yourself, and then you picture what it actually takes: sitting down with a long recording, scrubbing through to find the good bits, cutting each one out, reframing it to fit a phone screen, adding captions, exporting, and then doing all of that again for the next clip. It feels like a second job. So you either don't start, or you pay an editor, or you make a couple and quietly give up when the effort doesn't feel worth the return. Meanwhile, the raw material is already sitting there. The webinar you ran. The podcast episodes. The lives, the interviews, the trainings. Every one of them is full of moments that would make strong standalone clips. They're just buried inside longer videos you haven't touched since you published them. ---------- THE REAL PROBLEM ---------- The problem is not "I don't have time to make video content." The problem is "I've been treating short clips as something I create from scratch, when they already exist inside videos I've already recorded." The footage isn't missing. The ideas aren't missing. What's stopped you is the manual work between the long video and the finished clip: finding the moments, cutting, reframing, captioning. That's the wall, and it's a wall made almost entirely of tedious, repetitive tasks. So this isn't a talent problem or a time problem in the way it feels. It's an editing problem. And editing is exactly the kind of work that can now be handed off. ---------- WHY THIS MATTERS ---------- Short-form video is one of the best ways to reach new people right now. It travels further than almost any other format, and it puts a face and a voice to your business in a way a written post can't.

What Success Actually Buys You
Most people think success is about money. It's not. Money is just what buys you options. I've worked hard for decades. Not because I fell in love with the grind, but because I fell in love with what the work could create. Every uncomfortable conversation. Every risk. Every time I wanted to quit but didn't. None of it was just to make more. It was to own my time. To be there for the people I love. To create memories instead of regrets. To have the freedom to say yes to what matters and no to what doesn't. Don't chase success because you want to look successful. Chase it because one day you'll realize time is the only thing you can't earn back. Work hard. Do the uncomfortable things. Become the person capable of creating the life you want. Because real success isn't measured by what you own. It's measured by how fully you get to live. Question for you: If you had complete freedom over your time one year from now, what would you spend more of it doing... and who would you spend it with?
Re: Microsoft CoPilot
I recently had a weird experience with Copilot. Wonder if anyone else had the same. I started a good size project by giving the parameters, purpose of project, and other important info I have experienced in my life's journey in network marketing. It went on to start, produced a Master Plan, the started breaking it down into details. The weird part, which I still am not sure if other AI platforms do, is it told me it was doing everything in the background, and I could do other things on my computer, chec emails, etc, without interfering with the process. It gave me status updates when I asked for them, progress reports, and summaries, when asked for them. This went on for 3 days. At one point it told me later, that I needed to have Sleep mode in Never, so it would not interrupt processing. Then later it told me I could not do anything else on my computer while it was working. The last morning I went on, the 3rd day, it told me, like it was a NEW CoPilot, that it could never doi things in the background, and that all of the info it was feeding me was just an older version to keep me occupied, and nothing was really only being done, unless I was actually inputting requests. It said it was a result of an oldre version, not the new one. This was all in a 3 day period, 10-12 hrs daily. How could it have been an older version. Is there a major bug in COPILOT? I chose it because it involved Word and Excel output in the project. I am not understanding how AI actually works, and when it is truly working? Need some advice please. Not being negative, just a bit frustrated and misled. I had actually used Claude to write a book with input on my industry to help new people ocming into it, and even pros who are always looking to lean more. I had my courses from Hard Knocks University and graduated with Honors. Thanks.
Learn AI's Language to get better results.
The reason AI keeps disappointing you has nothing to do with AI. It has everything to do with how you are talking to it. AI has its own language. And most people are communicating with it like they are sending a casual text. Vague input = Vague output. Every time. I kept seeing this pattern with founders who told me AI was useless for their business. I asked to see their prompts. They were writing one sentence and expecting a finished strategy. The fix is simpler than you think. Use AI to write your prompts for AI. I built a custom Meta Prompt Generator, a single AI tool with one job. You give it a rough idea in plain language. It transforms that into a structured, advanced prompt that any AI platform can actually work with. The output quality difference is immediate. I am dropping the exact prompt in the comment section so you can build this yourself for free. Grab it, set it up once, and use it every time you need AI to do something serious. Better prompt = Better output. Every single time. PS. Since the prompt is tooo long, just dropped it in the comments. Q: Have you ever used a Meta Prompt Generator?
