Mark Benioff described five core elements of his business plan at Salesforce, referred to by the acronym V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, Measures).
The series of questions and priorities he uses to guide his business plan are:
- What do I really want?.
- What is really important to me in priority?.
- How am I going to get those things? (This includes determining the to-do list in priority and the budget for each item).
- What is preventing me from having what I really want?.
- How will I know that it's successful? How will I know that I really have it?.
