I accidentally found a new kind of free marketing.
And no, it’s not ads or SEO the old way.
It’s showing up inside LLM answers.
I tested this myself. It worked before an MVP even existed. That’s when it clicked: LLMs don’t reward hype. They reward clear, usable content.
Here’s the simple playbook, rewritten the way I actually use it:
First, write so machines can skim.
Short sections. Bullet points. Clear takeaways. If it’s easy for a human, it’s easier for an LLM.
Second, show real experience.
Not theory. Not buzzwords. Say things like “when I built this” or “what I saw working with clients.” LLMs trust lived context.
Third, answer before you explain.
How-to posts. FAQs. Problem → solution. Don’t tease. Deliver.
Fourth, spell out the context.
LLMs don’t guess. If it’s for founders, say it. If it’s for hiring, say it. Be explicit.
Fifth, write as you talk.
Clear. Simple. No jargon flexing. Fresh posts matter more than perfect ones.
Sixth, post where LLMs actually look.
LinkedIn. Reddit. Public platforms. Bonus points if you reply to comments with substance.
What happens next?
If you’re a founder, your product gets surfaced.
If you’re job hunting, you stand out.
If you’re building a personal brand, you become quotable.
Quick experiment:
Ask ChatGPT about your niche. See if you show up.
If not, now you know what to fix
